By accessing or using The Care Loop ('the platform'), you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Shoppers may use the platform to scan products and view Conscious Index insights. Brands may create a brand profile and manage their presence. Brand users confirm they are authorised to act on behalf of the company they represent and that the information they submit is accurate.

You agree not to:

• break any law or infringe others' rights;
• misrepresent your identity or a brand's information;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform;
• upload malicious code or harmful content;
• use the platform to harass, defame or mislead others.

The Conscious Index and related scores are provided for informational purposes only, based on available data and our methodology. They are estimates, may contain inaccuracies or labelled unknowns, and should not be treated as professional, medical, or purchasing advice. Always use your own judgement.

The platform, its design, content and the Conscious Index methodology are owned by The Care Loop or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without permission. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us a licence to use it to operate the platform.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Care Loop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the platform.

You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the platform in a way that may cause harm or legal liability.

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
